In the Malay language, Seri means "sparkling, shining light", an appropriate title for The Seri Villas - Seminyak - a brand new, contemporary Balinese inspired enclave presenting nine, fully furnished, equipped and serviced, 2 & 3 bedroom luxury Villas with private pools. Wireless high speed Internet access allows guests to send and receive e-mails inside or by the poolside.

The Villas

The Seri Villas - Seminyak features nine 2 & 3 bedroom luxury Villas with private pools. All of the villas are completely self-contained and secure, linked by a walled lane and heralded by traditional Balinese gateways crafted from creamy white Yogya stone. Behind each pair of wooden garden doors, stands a Balinese Hindu structure known as the ‘aling aling', a short screen wall designed to protect the property.

The architecture is a charming fusion of modern Balinese and minimalist tropical design, which makes effective use of natural texture and local materials, while also incorporating the essential elements of Balinese Hindu philosophy and symbolism. The stylish and comfortable interiors have been individually designed by "Cempaka" the Island's leading British interior design company. Each villa is different, yet all feature an elegant cappuccino and white décor, fine furnishings, plush features and the latest technology.

Living/Dining Areas

Taking advantage of The Seri's tropical location, the majority of the rooms boast large, bengkirai wood framed glass doors that can be opened up, thereby ensuring that guests can enjoy open air living, while being sheltered from the elements. This benefit also extends to the spacious living and dining pavilions, where floor-to-ceiling folding glass doors can be closed for air-conditioned comfort or opened up completely to create a semi-alfresco ambience, cooled by ceiling fans and gentle breezes. Looking out over the garden and pool, these areas are perfect for entertaining and enjoying the laid-back lifestyle for which Bali has become so famous. Characterised by soaring roofs and recessed lighting above a cool floor of marble or terrazzo inlaid with mother-of-pearl, each living & dining pavilion is tastefully furnished with a deeply cushioned, segmented lounge suite, a coffee table, a dining table for four or six persons, standard lamps, original artwork and local artefacts. High tech entertainment systems are comprised of 40-inch, plasma, cable TVs, DVD/CD players and quality speakers.

The Bedrooms

The spacious, fully air-conditioned bedrooms feature merbau wood parquet floors and local artwork, and are furnished with romantic, canopied king size beds, fitted shelf units, custom built wardrobes and reading lamps. Additionally, each master bedroom has the added comfort of a chaise lounge and a well-lit make-up table. Each bedroom is equipped with a 27 inch HDI LCD TV screens, DVD, MP3, CD stereo system, cable TV, a personal safe, and an IDD telephone.

En-suite garden bathrooms are planted with lush green foliage and colorful flowering bougainvillea. Each is fitted with a dreamy over sized bathtub, a powerful standing rain shower, a toilet, and a terrazzo vanity unit with a washbowl, a large mirror and storage space, complemented by a thoughtful array of amenities.

Integrated kitchens are fitted with bar counters, and well-equipped with marble work tops, gas hobs, refrigerators, ample shelving and storage cupboards, coffee makers, and a good range of utensils.

Private Swimming Pools

Each villa is comprised of two pavilions and a private swimming pool set within a sunny, walled courtyard garden, bursting with colorful bougainvillea flowering plants and complemented by Balinese stone carvings. Pools are lined with green Java stone and girded by black candi stone; while ulin (ironwood) poolside sundecks are bordered by white Yogya stone and furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas. The picture is completed by ornamental ponds, water cascades, and therapeutic, bubbling water features, which provide the serene and constant sound of flowing water.

Location :

The Seri Villas - Seminyak are situated in the very centre of what is now considered to be the Seminyak ‘Prime District' or "Golden Triangle" - a safe, up market neighbourhood that is home to some of the classiest properties on the island. The location is close to the prestigious Oberoi and Legian Hotels, and convenient for all of Bali's main shops, malls and tourist attractions, in addition to a plenitude of sumptuous spas, chic lounges and vibrant nightspots. Furthermore, the villas are only 20-30 minute drive from the international airport, which is currently undergoing a massive expansion to accommodate the Government's five-year forecast of increased tourism from the current 1.5 million to an astounding 4.5 million tourists per year.

The Seri Villas - Seminyak are just a short stroll - or chauffeured ride in an electric powered buggy - from the sweeping Petitenget Beach, which is well-known for its world-class surf breaks, panoramic coastline views and picture-perfect sunsets. A wide choice of world-renowned, fine dining restaurants, including the famous Ku DéTa, Hu'u Bar, Living Room Restaurant, La Lucciola, and Blossom at Sentosa, are within easy walking distance. The area also boasts a growing number of designer boutiques. Nearby places of interest include one of Bali's most sacred Hindu temples, Pura Petitenget, the fourth largest temple in Bali, where some of the most spectacular Balinese ceremonies may often be witnessed.

The Seri Villas - Seminyak management provides full hotel services supported by a carefully selected team of highly trained, friendly staff who will do their best to ensure that our guests experience a truly enjoyable stay in Bali. Personal butlers are on hand 24 hours a day to pamper and look after every need of our guests throughout the duration of their stay. The personal butlers will provide well-informed guide to Bali's day and nightlife, fine dining reservations, villa cocktail parties, arrange island tours, in-room spa and massage services, cultural activities, sports activities, personal shopping tours, in-villa entertainment and travel confirmations.

The team also includes cooks, receptionists, housekeepers, gardeners, pool attendants and maintenance staff. Security guards operate on a 24-hour shift basis.

Breakfast is prepared & served in the Villa. The cooks are trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine. They are responsible for all the market shopping, in accordance with the needs and the whims of the guests. The housekeepers fulfil all of the housekeeping duties while also taking care of the daily laundry. Baby-sitting services, and the facilities of a car and driver and private tours are also available on request at an extra charge.
