Number of Australia tourists visit to Bali increased 25%
August 19th, 2011Statistic Center Department of Bali Province found that numbers of Australia tourists increasing during first semester of 2011. Visitors reach up to 348.489 persons, meaning that increasing slightly 25,33%, compared to first semester period from last year which only about 278.049. Nominated as the 1st visitor numbers, Australia exceed 8 other nomination countries, followed by China, Malaysia, and South Korea.
Mr Gede Suarsa, Chairman of BPS Bali Province stated that Australia tourists reach the top position of visitors number in Bali nowadays. They are entering Indonesia through Ngurah Rai International airport. Australians interested in to coming to Bali, because they assume Bali as their second home regarding flight from Australia just takes few hours. In addition the intensive security system take apart in attract them to spend their holiday safely.
As our record, many Australia tourist prefer to stay in Seminyak area, whether it be a hotel or private villas, Seminyak is their favorite place to stay, as they easy to find restaurant, spa and boutiques shop around Seminyak area.
Concer for Komodo in Kuta Beach
August 2nd, 2011“ Komodo The real Wonder of the World ”
Komodo (Varanus komodoensis) is nominated as “The Real Wonder of The World”, this large species of lizard found in Pulau Kumodo, Nusa Tenggara Timur Province. The Amount of the Komodo is decrease slightly regarding their habituation is ruined by human activities, therefore government held may campaign to safe this ancient animal intensively. Komodo has attracted many visitor to coming to Pulau komodo. The amazing Total amount of the Visitor is up to 50.000 visitors in a year.
One of the successful program was held in Kuta Beach , on Saturday 30th July. Concert with many fabulous performance supported this event. Numerous artists taken apart in this spectacular event such as Dwiki Darmawan & World Peace Ensemble Ivan Nestorman, Dira Sugandi, Sandhy Sandoro, Marcell and Friends. Moreover, traditional dance from Nusa Tenggara also performed beautifully.
Directorate General Marketing of Tourism Ministry , Mr Sapta Nirwandar stated that the aims of the Concert is to influence International Public to taking apart to conservation program. In those program, there will be 5 important aspect become the content of the promotion Taman Nasional Komodo (National Comodo Park) as “ The Real Wonder of the World” such as ; nature, underwater, wildlife, culture, and sustainability. Many activities held continuously to promote the sustainable this ancient rare animal . The ministry of Tourism and Culture donated about 8 billion to campaign Komodo as The Real Wonder of The World. The fund will be allocated to the Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur province as the habitat of Komodo. Funds is donated from Government and many private company. This year , the campaign is concentrate to the Komodo , however for the next period will be arrange to another Indonesian Wonder. In 2012 many agenda will be designed to campaign sustainable of Orang Utan , Badak, and Raja Ampat Archipelago.
