After getting the black campaign about waste problems and traffic congestion from Time magazine, Bali precisely in the top 10 favorite tourist destinations of China from 68 destinations in other countries. The ten countries chosen other than Bali are Australia, Cape Town, Edinburgh, Hawaii, Madrid, Egypt, Niagara Falls, Paris, and Switzerland, as we quoted from the BaliPost today.
As presented by the Head of Bali’s tourism department, Mr IB Kade Subhiksu, Bali is the only tourist destination from Asia region that was selected as the best tourist destination in The 1st Global Tourism Thermal List-the Most Preferred Tourist Attraction for Chinese in 2011. With the election of Bali as a favorite tourist destination is marked with awards given to Bali. As a poll conducted by the Beijing People’s Broadcasting Station, since the month of April 2011, Bali has become one of the 10 favorite tourist spot, which was followed by 68 other nominations.
During the year 2011, Bali has received 11 awards, one of which is chosen Bali as the best tourist destinations in Asia Pacific Magazine from Hong Kong’s Asia Pacific Business Travelers. As many as 196,925 peoples from 50 million Chinese tourists traveled overseas travel, choose Bali as their holiday destination.
Chinese tourists in general prefer adventure tours, such as cruise or rafting. They do not really like shopping for handicraft products, except for craft products that have a distinctive, because they are very concerned about quality.
Hopefully with the election of Bali as a favorite travel destination for Chinese tourists, does not make Bali over proud, but rather make our local governments and people of Bali to further maintain the cleanliness and the environment in Bali.
