Statistic Center Department of Bali Province found that numbers of Australia tourists increasing during first semester of 2011. Visitors reach up to 348.489 persons, meaning that increasing slightly 25,33%, compared to first semester period from last year which only about 278.049. Nominated as the 1st visitor numbers, Australia exceed 8 other nomination countries, followed by China, Malaysia, and South Korea.
Mr Gede Suarsa, Chairman of BPS Bali Province stated that Australia tourists reach the top position of visitors number in Bali nowadays.
